Security Forces Retake Arghanj Khwa District of Badakhshan
After nearly three days, the security forces succeeded in removing the Taliban from Arghanj Khwa district of Badakhshan province and toke control of the district.
According to the Middle East Press; on 30, March 2019, Taliban Group seized the Arghanj Khwa district and beat the Security Forces back.
But after about three days, security forces today morning (Tuesday, April 02) managed to take control of the district
Badakhshan Governor`s spokesman Nick Mohammad Nazari told the Middle East Press that Commandos operations were launched by air and ground, due to which massive casualties were inflicted on the Taliban.
He said the armed Taliban escaped from the district and the security forces are clearing up.
The governor’s spokesman, added that there were no casualties of the security forces and civilians.
Armed Taliban have not commented on this.
