Security Forces Repel Taliban Attack on Imam Saheb District, Kunduz

KABUL (MEP) – Afghan Security forces repelled the Taliban attack on Imam Saheb district of Kunduz province, says MoD.

Armed Taliban fighters attacked security outposts in Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province Monday night.

The Ministry of Defense says that security forces, after being aware of the attack, intend to launch an operation for repelling it.

MoD statement say, six Taliban fighters were killed and five others wounded in the operation.

The armed Taliban have not commented yet.
