Security Forces Kills Commander Abdul-Sattar in Kabul

KABUL (MEP) –Security Forces launched an operation in Khair Khana area in Kabul, resulting in five people, including a former commander of Jamiat-e-Islami, were killed.

Security forces Sunday night launched a special operation on a home in Hesa Awal Khairkhana in PD11 of Kabul city.

Eyewitnesses and locals have said that the house was attended by the Abdul Sattar Qurbani, a Jihadist commander belonging to the Jamiat-e-Islami Party.

Some sources also told media that five people, including Abdul Sattar and his son, were killed and two others were wounded in the operation.

Kabul security officials have not commented so far.

Commander Abdul Sattar was one of the prominent Jihad commander in the Dar-e -Ghorband area.
