KABUL: (Middle East Press) Saudi Arabia’s King Salman during a phone call asked US president Barack Obama to help Riyadh to solve Yemen’s problem and current crisis in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia’s important domestic and foreign challenges were discussed in a telephone call last Friday between the highest authorities of Riyadh and Washington.
In this telephone call Barack Obama assured his full support for the ruling family in Saudi Arabia, and said America is ready to address Saudi monarch King Salman who is their main economic, political and oil partner in the Middle East.
King Salman asked US president to help him to sort out the following important issues considering Saudis’ interest.
1- Help to end the Yemen crisis and prevent Geneva meeting with the presence of Ansarallah and put pressure on countries that support Yemen such as Iran, Oman and Iraq.
2- Further military support for Saudi Arabia in Yemen and prevention the spread of Yemeni’s attacks to Saudi Arabia and support to stop their fast ground and air missile operations.
3- Encourage Saudi coalition’s members to have active role against Yemen and cooperation with Saudi Arabia.
4- Further pressure on Islamic countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey to join the Arab coalition and encourage them to assist Saudi Arabia.
5- To put pressure on Muslim countries to avoid holding any gathering, meetings and protest to denounce Saudi Arabia’s actions which demonizes it among Muslims.
6- Help to resolve occurred discontent between the Saudis and the Saudi princes
7- Address Shiites issue in Saudi Arabia and a possible crisis in the Shiite provinces of Saudi Arabia.
8- Information and infrastructure assistance to identify and counter anti Saudi’s propaganda especially through Internet and cyberspace.
Mostly he emphasized about Saudi’s invasion of Yemen and aftermaths of Yemen. Saudi attack on Yemen previously was coordinated with the United States of America and even the start of the operation was announced by Adel Al-Jubeir, the Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations from America and New York but Saudis are concerned that America may not accompany Riyadh till the end.
It is said this is a bog that Saudi Arabia with America’s primary confirmation entered; in fact it is the end of the reign of Al-Saud in Saudi Arabia and the formation of a new government within the framework of America’s desired Middle East plan.
In this phone call which lasts one hour, king Salman had to leave his room 2 times due to his illness and came back again after a few minutes of interruption to continue talks!
