KABUL: (Middle East Press) Saudi’s fresh air strikes claimed the lives of at least three civilians and injuring three others in Yemen as Riyadh pushes ahead with its military campaign against Popular Committees, including Houthi Ansarullah fighters, in the impoverished Arab country.
A number of houses and residence were hit by the Saudi military aircrafts and many people have lost their lives and sustained injuries in the northwestern city of Sa’ada, on Wednesday morning, Arabic-language al-Masirah satellite television network reported.
Shortly afterwards, Saudi warplanes pounded Sana’a International Airport. There were no immediate reports on casualties and the extent of the damage.
Saudi Arabia has launched its air campaign against Yemen on March 26, without a UN command, in a bid to restore power to the fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
Nearly 2,000 people have been killed so far and more than 4,000 others have been injured in the Saudi’s aggression.
