Saudi’s Airstrike Targets MSF Hospital, Killing 11 Yemenis

MSF155208MEP: At least 11 people have been killed and 19 wounded in Saudi Arabia’s air strike on Doctors Without Borders (MSF) hospital in northwestern Yemen, the medical charity confirmed on Monday.

The hospital was hit at 3.45pm local time (12:45 GMT), in the Abs district of the northwestern Hajjah province, the Paris-based NGO said in a Twitter post, adding that the number of casualties is still unknown.

Two other patients died while being transferred to another hospital in Yemen, while five of the patients remained hospitalised, according to MSF.

“Yes, we confirm the news. A hospital that is run by MSF was hit by a couple of airstrikes today at 3.45pm local time. Right now we don’t have more information. Medical staff are attending the wounded,” MSF spokesperson Malak Shaher told RT.
