Saudi Arabia’s Embassy Projected ‘Daesh Bank’ In Berlin

    • daesh-isis-bank-saudi-arabia-embassy-berlin-germany-MEP: A number of Human-rights activists have performed the Islamic State (IS or Daesh) terrorists flag and the phrase “Daesh Bank” onto the Saudi Arabia’s embassy in German’s capital, Berlin to draw public attention to the country’s alleged support of extremist groups.

    Artist Oliver Bienkowski and the Pixel Helper collective accomplished the stunt, according to the INDEPENDENCE.

    However, the Kingdom plays one of the key roles in the US-led coalition aimed at eradicating ISIL in Syria and Iraq but the country has faced major criticism from its western allies for not making enough of an effort in the fight against terrorism.

    Saudi Arabia has also been accused of financially supporting extremist rebel groups in Syria.

    A 2009 memo published by WikiLeaks revealed that Hillary Clinton, who was back then the US Secretary of State, said that Saudi Arabia had been financing ISIS, Al-Qaeda and the Taliban. Saudi Arabia shrugged off the allegations, underscoring the initiatives it undertakes to prevent people from financing the terrorist groups.
