Russia Transfers Its Baltic Fleet to Iran’s Chabahar Port

KABUL (MEP) – Russia has announced that it has sailed its naval fleet to Iran’s Sothern Chabahar port.

Russian Navy Press Office announced that the advanced fleet was sailed last night to the port of Chabahar, Iran.

The Baltic military fleet is among the most advanced offshore equipment which is tested in the Russia-Iran-China joint military exercise

The fleet includes the ships of Yaroslav Moody, Viktor Kondsky and Yelenia.

Meanwhile, tensions between the U.S. and Iran have escalated following the assassination of Qassem Suleimani by US Air Force in Baghdad, and the Iraqi parliament approved the withdrawal of US and foreign troops in connection with the incident.
