Rocket Attacks Hit Southern Afghanistan Killing and Injuring Civilians
KABUL: (Middle East Press) several rockets reportedly fired in southern Kandahar and Helmand provinces leaving at least three civilians dead and injured five others, said officials Monday.
The officials added that a rocket landed in Surkh Abad area of Ghorak District around 08:00 am this morning leaving two civilians killed and another wounded.
Those killed are father and son and the one wounded is a child of the same family.
Meanwhile, another rocket smashed a compound in Helmand province in Shakar Shila area of Sangin district, killing a woman and injuring four others.
There’s no reports of responsibility claims regarding the incidents.
