Rocket attack in Kabul kills mother and her child
As a result of a rocket fire on a residential home in the fifth district of Kabul, a woman and a child were killed and one was injured.
Near noon today (July 5) two rocket fires struck on residential houses in Niyazbig area in the fifth district of Kabul city.
Najib Danesh, director of the interior ministry spokeswoman’s office on his Facebook page, wrote that a rocket fighter had hit a residential home.
According to him, a woman and a child were killed in the incident and another member of the family was injured and transferred to the hospital.
Eyewitnesses have said that the dead are a mother and her child.
Meanwhile, Danesh has said that another rocket fighter has hit a septic well that has not had any casualties.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
