Roadside Bomb Killed 4 Afghan Forces in Nuristan

KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least four Afghan Border Police have been killed following a roadside landmine in eastern Nuristan province.

Abdul Baqi Nuristani, Police Chief of Nuristan province said, the blast took place Saturday afternoon in Dawhardish area of Kamdesh District.

He added that a vehicle of the Border Police ran over an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) that caused four soldiers dead.

Kamdesh is believed to be one of the hot spots for militants in Nuristan province.

No group has so far claimed responsibility behind the attack.
