Rafsanjani’s Death, An Irreversible Loss For The Region

MEP: Second Vice President of the Executive Government of National Unity in addition offering his condolences for death of Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, chairman of Iran’s Expediency Council, described his death “an irreparable loss for the region and the Islamic world.”

Haji Mohammad Mohaqeq on Monday said in a statement, “I have been informed of Mujahid world’s poignant death, prominent politician of the contemporary world, Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, chairman of Iran’s Expediency Council by a world of grief.”

Rafsanjani, was responsible in different periods of contemporary history of Iran for sixty years and went through all the ups and downs of difficulties with great wisdom and insight, the statement added.

The statement further adds that during the struggle against the monarchy of theory makers Islamic revolution and during the recent victory of the popular revolution the region and the world leadership of Imam Khomeini (RH) was considered one of the key allies of holiness at some point after the death of the Imam stood in the Islamic Republic’s military leaders and was one of the pioneers of its governance, in a way that the two presidential terms of his became as the era of construction.

“In recent decades, making all events in differences in ideology between the nature of the Islamic Republic which is a system of religious democracy, has always supported the principle of system and was one of the basic pillars of the Islamic Republic. Undoubtedly tragic loss of this great man of religion and politics, is an irreversible loss and a huge vacuum for the region and the world of Islam.”
