Protests Continue in Lebanon

KABUL (MEP) – Although Lebanon’s PM has stepped down from his post, the people of Lebanon gather again for a crowd protest.

However, Saad al-Hariri resigned as prime minister nearly ten days ago, but thousands still continue to protest.

The Lebanese people have been protesting in various cities, especially the capital Beirut, and have been chanting against political rulers who have been in power for last 30 years.

The protests continued last night in central Beirut.

Protesters accuse the Lebanon government of corruption.

Meanwhile, Lebanese President Michel Aoun has not yet begun negotiations to form a new government following Saad Hariri’s resignation.
