KABUL: (Middle East Press) the prisoners of northern Jawzjan province have reportedly killed three policemen inside the prison.
Faqir Mohammad Jawzjani, police chief of Jawzjan province while confirming the report told reporters that the incident took place during an inspection.
He said a delegation visited the prison for examination but the prisoners believed the delegation is taking them to Pul-i-Charkhi prison in Kabul and attacked the delegation.
He added that three policemen were killed and a number of the prisoners were injured.
