KABUL (MEP) – Afghan President left for Turkey to participate in the “Conference of Heart of Asia – Istanbul Process” at the head of a high-level government delegation.
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani today Sunday, December 08, left Kabul for Turkey, according to a newsletter by President`s Office (ARG.)
In addition to attending and delivering a speech at the Heart of Asia Conference, Afghan President will also meet with officials from various countries, the newsletter added.
In the Istanbul meeting of Heart of Asia, there are 14 neighboring countries and regions; 16 countries and 12 international organizations support it and its most important goal is to provide a platform for dialogue on regional cooperation, especially with regard to Afghanistan.
The Heart of Asia Process Plan, known as the Istanbul Process, was launched in 2011 with the initiative of Afghanistan and Turkish support.
