KABUL: (MEP) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani a head of a high-ranking delegation arrived in Baku the capital of Azerbaijan early Tuesday.
A statement issued by Presidential Palace “ARG” Ghani will meet with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and other officials during his two day official visit that will include talks on improving relations between the two nations.
According to the statement, a number of agreements will be signed between the two countries in presence of the presidents.
Ghani is also expected to meet with Azerbaijan’s parliament deputies during his visit.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Finance, Minister of Trade and Industry, Minister of Labour and Social Security and other senior Afghan officials are accompanying the president on this trip, the statement added.
