President Ghani and Chief Executive Abdullah Left for US

KABUL: (Middle East Press) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdullah Abdullah have both travelled to United Stated on Saturday night.

President Ghani is accompanied by Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani, National Security Adviser Hanif Atmar, Finance Minister Eklil Hakimi, NDS Chief Rahmatullah Nabil, Head of the Office of Administrative Affairs Abdul Salam Rahimi, Head of the Independent Human Rights Commission Seema Samar, Economic Advisor Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal, High Peace Council Secretary Mohammad Masoom Stanikzai and Presidential spokesman Ajmal Obaid Abidi.

A statement released by ARG states ,President Ghani and the Chief Executive will stay in the US for 5 days to meet with the US officials, NATO and UN officials.

President Ghani will meet with the US President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, US congress Chairman, Secretary General of the NATO, US Defense Secretary, Secretary of Treasury and World Bank Delegation.

President Ghani will then leave for New York on Thursday to meet with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, the statement added.
