Perpetrators Of Attack On Shia Pilgrims Arrested In Iraq

ISIS terroritsMEP: The Iraqi security forces have arrested a group of five members of Islamic State (IS or Daesh) terrorists over the deadly attack on the Shia pilgrims of Imam Kazim (AS) in Baghdad.

The terrorists targeted the pilgrims after they were on the way to Imam Kazim (AS) holy shrine to honor the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Imam.

However, the Iraqi Defense Ministry said in a statement that the terrorist group has been arrested along with some explosive belts, bombs, explosive devices remotely and a number of grenades attempted to once again attack the pilgrims of Imam Musa Kazim (AS) in Baghdad.

According to the statement, the terrorists have confessed to their crimes against the pilgrims.

Imam Musa Kazim, also called Abul-Hassan was the seventh Shia Imam after his father Imam Jafar Sadiq.
