Paktia Explosion Wounded Five Civilians
KABUL: (Middle East Press) A landmine blast in Sayed Karam district of Paktia province, left at least five civilians injured Monday morning.
The attack took place after the civilians vehicle ran over a landmine and were immediately shifted to the hospitals, said Brigadier General Zalmai Oryakhil, the police chief of Paktia province.
A child and a woman were also among the victims, Oryakhil added.
The wounded health conditions are reported to be stable.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the blast however, security forces have launched an investigation into the incident.
