Pakistani Spy Drone Crashes in Kunar
KABUL (MEP) – A Pakistani spy drone have crashed in the Sarkano district of Kunar province, local officials say.
The spokesman for the governor of Kunar Abdul Ghani Mosammam, told MEP that the spy drone crashed Monday night in the Gulab Pari area of Sarkano district.
According to him, the plane crashed 700 meters into the Afghanistan territory from the Durand Imaginary Line.
Mr. Mosammam did not specify the cause of the crash.
So far, Afghan border forces have not commented on whether the plane was shot down or crashed due to technical problems.
The Pakistani government has not commented so far.
Kunar province is one of the areas that has been repeatedly attacked by Pakistani border guards and targeted by rocket launchers.
