Over 36 Terrorist Killed in Afghan Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to Interior Ministry Sunday, at least over 36 terrorists have been killed in the Afghan military operations across the country in past 24 hours.
General Zahir Azimi said following the statement that the militants were killed in separate military operations in Maidan Wardak, Paktika and Farah provinces.
The Afghan Security forces have also defused 17 bombs during the operations, the statement adds.
Afghan National Security forces are conducting several anti-terrorism operations in different parts of the country including Operation Zulfiqar in restive Helmand province.
Officials say the operations are successfully ongoing.
Moreover, one of Afghan National Army soldiers embraced martyrdom due to a landmine explosion but the exact location of the blast has not been revealed.
