Over 30 Taliban Militants Join Peace Process in Jawzjan
KABUL: (Middle East Press) A group of 35 Taliban militants have reportedly joined peace process in Jawzjan province Saturday, officials said.
Mawlavi Mohammad Akram head of advisory committee on peace in Jawzjan said, the group members led by Yoldash were involved in anti-government and terrorist activities in relevant areas of Jawzjan province, which with their hand weapons have joined peace process.
With joining of the group in peace process the security situation will improve in Northern provinces highway, source added.
From the beginning of the process more than 665 militants have joined peace process in various parts of Jawzjan province, source concluded.
