Over 140 Taliban Militants Killed In Past 48 Hours

    • afghan-armyKABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 148 Taliban militants have been killed and 77 others wounded by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) in military operations across the country, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced on Saturday.

    MoD issued a statement states that the operations were conducted in Kunar, Ghazni, Logar, Paktia, Paktika, Khost, Kandahar, Urozgan, Daikundi, Zabul, Ghor, Farah, Baghlan, Sar-i-Pul, Kundoz, Faryab, Takhar and Helmand provinces in past 48 hours.

    The statement adds that at least 8 militants were also detained during these operations.

    However, the statement did not provide details regarding the casualties of Afghan military forces during the operations.
