One Dead, Two Injured in Parwan Roadside Blast

afghanistanKABUL: (Middle East Press) A roadside explosion has reportedly killed one and injured two others in Parwan province Monday night.

The incident took place when a planted mine in a Corolla car exploded in Sayed Khail district of the province, said Col. Mohammad Zaman Mamozai police chief of Parwan.

The Corolla car was heading toward Sayed Khail district to participate in a wedding ceremony that the already planted mine detonated in which a commuter of the car was killed and two others were wounded, Mamozai added.

One of the injured’s health condition is reported to be critical.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. 

The attack comes days when a Jihadi commander targeted by unknown gunmen and killed in Sayed Khail district of the province.
