North Korea Unveils Its Christmas Gift to US
KABUL (MEP) – The North Korean leader has announced that NK will present a new strategic weapon to the world in the new year.
The message was issued on the last day of Pyongyang’s deadline for Washington to change its stance in talks between the two sides to rid the Korean peninsula of nuclear weapons.
North Korea’s state-run news agency reported that Kim Jong-un made the remarks last night at a meeting of the ruling Korea Workers’ Party.
The North Korean leader has insisted that Pyongyang will never abandon its security of economic interests in the face of US actions and nuclear threats.
He had warned the United States in April that it would only have until the end of 2019 to come to the negotiating table with a new course in disarmament negotiations, otherwise it would have to wait for the consequences of insisting on previous approaches.
Meanwhile, analysts also considered NK`s “Christmas gift” to the US as missile test which comes after lack of progress in negotiations.
