No More Land To Usurp In The Country: NUG

12922375_1059539134107206_366242292_oKABUL: (MEP) After the seizure of a number of state-owned land in the provinces, the Cabinet of National Unity Government (NUG) confirmed plan for five-year strategic to prevent land grabbing in the country.

The plan was discussed during a meeting held on Wednesday evening chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, a statement by his office (Presidential Palace) said.

According to the plan, Afghanistan Land Authority is responsible to provide the concept in relation to withdrawal of public lands respectively and combined with five-year strategic plan, to the Supreme Council for land and water, the statement adds.

This comes as a large number of public land and green space have been usurped by warlords and military commanders and the government and the government has been weak so far in regard to the extradition.

According to the statement, the director of the local organs the propose of the department has provided to municipalities for further delegation and local authorities were obliged to offer these to ask the Supreme Economic Council to discuss further.

The officials also discussed other issues of the national strategy based on the statistics of those cases where, CSO was obliged to statistical data by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development and coordinate the public health.
