New Rocket Attack Strikes near US Embassy in Baghdad
KABUL (MEP) – The US embassy in Iraq’s capital, Baghdad once again came under attack from rocket fire early Sunday.
Rocket attack alarms sounding off multiple times and booms were heard near US embassy in Baghdad’s heavily fortified Green Zone.
Iraq’s al-Hura Aews Agency reports that at least five rockets landed in the heavily fortified Green Zone in Iraq’s capital.
Some Iraqi government sources said the US embassy was targeted by a rocket attack, followed by US helicopters flying over the area.
