“The explosive materials were seized during a raid from Pashtoon Abad village of Baraki district.” A statement said by NDS on Monday.
The statement adds that two Kalashnikovs, military equipment and other terrorist materials were at the raided depot besides the explosive materials.
Taliban militants had planned to use the seized materials for suicide bombing and other militancy activities in and out of the province.
However, the exact date of the achievement was not released in the statements issued by NDS.
