A statement by NDS said Saturday Fazullah was arrested after he was planning to plant IEDs and terrorist attacks in Kot district.
The security officers also confiscated several explosives and weapons from him during the military operation, the statement added.
NDS says that the arrest of the person in bombing attacks by insurgents in eastern Nangarhar province has a positive effect.
The development comes as a group of trio terrorists were arrested by police in Helmand province.
