National Army Kills Deputy Taliban Governor For Parwan’s Shinwari District

English-Middle East PressKABUL: (MEP) The Afghan national army killed a Taliban deputy provincial governor for Shinwari district of Parwan province during special operations.

A statement by the Ministry of Interior said the operations were launched last night in the village of Darazgard.

Alamuddin alias to Hemad, deputy governor of Shinwari district has been killed who was involved in the majority of terrorist attacks, particularly in planting mines in different parts of the district, the statement added.

Meanwhile, a Taliban mine planter identified as Shukerullah, was killed while making mines in Bala-boluk district of Farah province, according to the statement.

Taliban insurgents are yet to comment on the report.
