KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to local officials an explosion in eastern Nangarhar province left a child dead earlier today.
The blast took place in the first police district of Jalalabad city near AFghan-Turk school around 7:30 am local time.
Ahmad Zia Abdulzai provincial governor spokesman confirmed the incident and said the explosives were planted close to the Afghan-Turk school and the kid was killed while he was crossing the area.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
