Moroccan and Tunisian People Oppose the Saudi-led Coalition Military Intervention in Yemen

KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to reports, public opinion in Morocco, Tunisia and Yemen is opposed for any military intervention in Yemen and in various gatherings condemned “Operation Decisive Storm” and “Operation Hope Restore” in cooperation with the Saudi government against Muslim people of Yemen and urged their governments not to participate in this war.

In this regard, Moroccan people held a wide protest in front of country’s parliament to oppose Rabat’s participation in operations of killing Yemenis that led to the clashes between Moroccan security forces and demonstrators and a number of protesters were injured.

And also the Tunisian civil society organizations and some political figures in the country formed a coalition and condemned Saudi aggression against Yemen and they called this war as a series of West’s destructive plans in the Muslim lands.

However Moroccan and Tunisian officials try to legitimize their cooperation in Saudi military operations against the people of Yemen as an Arabic solidarity.
