civilians killed in Turkish airstrikes in SyriaMEP: Turkish shelling and air strikes have killed a total of 35 civilians in northern Syria, a monitoring group said Sunday.

In addition, 75 others wounded.

According to the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, at least 20 civilians lost their lives and 50 more sustained injuries on Sunday after the Turkish attacks on the Jubb al-Kusa, a village south of the town of Jarablus in Syria’s Aleppo province.

The Turkish officials are yet to release any comment.

Meanwhile, another 15 civilians were dead and 25 others wounded, many seriously, in Turkish air raids near the town of Amarneh, south of Jarablus, the source added.

Sunday’s deaths came a day after Turkey blamed Kurdish forces battling for control of the border region for its first fatality.
