Mohammad Mohaqiq Contracts Coronavirus

KABUL (MEP) – The leader of People Islamic Unity Party of Afghanistan, Mohammad Mohaqiq contracted coronavirus.

Sources close to Mr. Mohaqiq confirms he tested positive for coronavirus.

“Fight against coronavirus, the same as military battle, requires morale and perseverance,” said Mohammad Mohaqiq in a post on Facebook Monday.

He has also published several photos showing him eating nutritious foods and getting sunlight.

Earlier, Mohammad Ali Mohaqiq the son of Mohammad Mohaqiq and MP from Balkh had contracted coronavirus and later recovered.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Public Health says that the cases are rising day-by-day and illness is spreading everywhere.

Currently, more than 20,000 people in the country have coronavirus, with more than 300 patients were killed.
