Mine planers arrested in Kandahar

KABUL: (MEP) – Three mine planters were arrested when the security forces were informed on the insurgent’s being involved in placing mine in an area in Daman district, said an official Tuesday, reported wakht.

Spokesman for the governor office, Jawed Faisal said the three were held early this morning when was engaged in placing mine in the district to target the convoy of the Afghan and coalition forces.

The men were trained on how to make mine and sent to Afghanistan to target the security forces, said the spokesman.

According to him, the arrested insurgents were taken to the justice and judiciary organs for more investigation and to face legal pursue.
