KABUL: (MEP) BREAKIN NEW: A relatively massive explosion has reportedly killed several people and injured many in central Istanbul Tuesday afternoon.
Turkish television channels say the attack took place in Sultanahmet district, a major tourist spot where police officials have cordoned off the area and ambulances have arrived at the scene close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.
According to witnesses, some body parts were seen at the blast scene.
