Man Who Ran over Farkhunda’s Body With Car, Arrested
KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to National Directorate of Security (NDS), the man who had beaten Farkhunda to death and then ran over with his car, has been arrested.
NDS said the man was identified as Baryalai who was involved in murdering the innocent Farkhunda.
Baryalai was crossing the area when he witnessed Farkhunda being lynched and stepped down to participate in the brutal murder.
NDS added that Baryalai dragged Farkhunda’s dead body with his car before her body was set on fire on the river side close to Shah Do Shamshera shrine.
The statement also added that Baryalai was hiding in Guldan village in Kapisa province and was arrested following an operation by the Afghan intelligence operatives who has now been transferred to Kabul city.
Farkhunda was incorrectly accused of burning the holy Quran and then brutally killed and her body was set in fire in Capital Kabul.
