Landmine Blast Kills Family Members in Logar Province

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Landmine blast in Logar province has left at least seven members of a family dead who were travelling from Kabul to Logar province, officials said.

The incident took place after a civilian vehicle ran over a landmine Friday afternoon killing all civilians who included, four children, two men and a woman.

Abdul Hakim Ishqzai, provincial police chief of Logar province has confirmed the incident saying the family were travelling to Baraki Barak district of Logar province.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility behind the blast so far.
