Landmine Blast Kills Entire Family in Ghazni Province

KABUL: (Middle East Press) A landmine blast rocked central Ghazni province which in result seven members of a family have lost their lives in the spot.

The incident took place in Alizai area of Andar District Monday evening, Shafiq Nang Sapay, spokesman of Ghazni province acting governor said on Tuesday.

He added a Flying Coach model vehicle in which the family was travelling ran over a landmine leaving all seven passengers of the vehicle dead.

The victims included three children, three women and a man, said Ghazni acting governor.

According to him, an investigation has been launched by the security agencies into the incident.

No group or individual has so far claimed responsibility behind the blast.
