Kunduz Police Releases Young Girl From Kidnappers’ Captivity

Kunduz policeKABUL: (MEP) A young girl has been released in Ali Abad district of Kunduz province, after she kidnapped in Kabul city by unknown abductors, Local officials in Kunduz reported.

Mahfoz-ullah Akbari, spokesman for Kunduz police chief told “MiddleEastPress” the 18 year old girl was abducted Thursday morning and was released at the border gate of Ali-Abad district.

According to him, the kidnappers have been arrested in connection with the incident and investigations have also been initiated.

The girl was kidnapped long before in Karte Sakhi area of Kabul city and was transferred to Kunduz province, Akbari noted.

The source said, the girl was handed over to her father after release.
