KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least over 30 Taliban militants have been killed following ongoing operation since five days in northern Kundoz province, Security officials said.
General Abdul Saboor Nasrati, police chief of Kundoz province says the incident took place in Imam Sahib District of Kundoz province which left 30 militants killed and several others wounded so far.
He said 31 villages in Imam Sahib District have been cleared off the Taliban presence.
He confirmed that two afghan forces have also been killed in the fight with the insurgents.
