Kabul Police CID Chief Dismissed
Head of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Kabul Police was dismissed by the Interior Ministry.
“Salim Almas was dismissed by MoIA today (Saturday, May 18),” Head of Kabul Police Media office Basir Mujahid told Middle East Press.
According to him, MoIA has replaced Colonel Moin al-Din with Mr. Almas and afterward Moin al-Din will serve as Kabul Police CID chief.
Mujahid did not express the cause of the Salim Almas removal, and stated that the interior ministry decides on his fate.
This replacements in CID office take place while the crime statistics in Capital Kabul has been increased.
