Kabul- 3 policemen killed in Dogh-Abad station

As a result of gunmen attack and clashes in a police station in Dogh-Abad, PD7 of Kabul, three police and two attackers killed, and three police, two attackers wounded.

Firdaws Faramars, a spokesman for Kabul police told Middle East Press that the incident has taken place in Dogh Abad area of Kabul PD7 during Iftary time last night.

According to him, after the attack, security forces clashed with the gunmen, in which two police killed and three injured.

“During cross fires, two attackers killed and two of them injured,” added Faramarz.

The Kabul police spokesman says initial investigations have shown that the gunmen have attacked from Gulbagh which borders Char-Asiab and Logar province.

The armed Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack.

Eyewitnesses say the gunmen with cars and motorcycles, attacked the police station and then fled.

However, gunmen had formerly killed four ANP soldiers in a checkpoint in the Pul-e-Charkhi area.
