KABUL: (Middle East Press) The Bahraini monarch says Manama is ready to help Jordan fight against ISIL Takfiri militants, several days after burning a Jordanian pilot in a metal cage.

A statement by the royal palace in Amman said Monday that King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa told his Jordanian counterpart King Abdullah II that he was “proud to provide all the help Jordan needs to fight terrorism” and face ISIL.

The statement added that the talks between the two monarchs in the Jordanian capital focused on military cooperation between the two Arab countries, especially their air forces.

On February 3, ISIL released a video online showing the Takfiri terrorists burning alive a Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kassasbeh who had been taken hostage in December 2014.

Following the release of the video, Jordan vowed “punishment and revenge” for the killing of the 26-year-old pilot. Amman executed two ISIL-linked militants just hours after the video emerged.
