Italian il Manifesto newspaper wrote, “the Bank of Italy said in a report on Wednesday that between 2007 to 2014, over 7 years, the number of poor in the country has doubled two times and from 3 percent, the country’s population has increased to 7 percent.”
Therefore, the number of poor people in Italy from 2 million in 2007 has enlarged to 4 million in 2014.
More than 10 million people under age 18, or 10 percent of people under 18 years of the country also live in absolute poverty.
