ISIS Diplomat Visits MI6 Officials in London

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Colonel Walid Salem has shifted his loyalty and became the current deputy for Abu Omar al-Anbari, ISIS’ notorious intelligence chief, a Russian daily newspaper said.

Walid Salim who served as a senior intelligence officer under Saddam Hussein’s oppressive rule and chief of station for Iraqi intelligence in London back in 1980s.

According to the Russian newspaper, Mr. Salem who managed to flew covertly to London in February 2015, with the help of several discontented Sunni politicians in Baghdad, met with two distinguished MI6 officials in the Milestone Hotel for couples of days, discussing about next strategies to counter Iranian growing influence in Iraq.

The two sides supposedly agreed that ISIS militant’s militias from gaining any striking military victories and in return, Her Majesty’s Government pledged sincerely to assist hardline Islamist rebels with every financial and logistic support to foil Iranian infringement.

The ISIL militants are currently seizing vast swaths of territory in oil-rich northern parts of Iraq during a surprising bombardment while they have faced a tenacious resistance by Iranian-backed militias aiming to recapture flashpoint city of Tikrit.
