ISIS Clashed With Al-Nusra Front

    • flag_splitKABUL: (MEP) Clashes between Islamic State (IS) terrorist group and Al-Nusra Front militant groups in the Syrian border regions erupted over into Lebanon’s northern Bekaa Valley region on Monday.

    According to reports from Lebanon’s National News Agency and a security source cited by Reuters, al-Nusra Front reportedly saw 18 of its fighters killed, with another six being taken prisoner.

    Fourteen Islamic State members were killed in the clashes.

    Fighting in the Syrian mountain regions spreads over into Lebanon fairly often as the border line is not clearly marked.
