ISIL’s Efforts to Attract Al-Nusra Leaders

KABUL: (Middle East Press) The disclosure of the ISIL’s plan to attract the leaders of Al-Nusra Front a year ago, and ISIL senior officials’ orders to its commanders and members to infiltrate in Al-Nusra structure has raised several concerns for the intelligence services supportive of Al-Nusra Front especially Saudi intelligence service.

Although Riyadh always backed ISIL, but simultaneously maintaining the power of Al-Nusra Front and ISIL in order to keep balance in the region is the key focus of think tank of war management in Syria and Iraq at NATO headquarter in Turkey.

According to Turkish Anadolu news agency, ISIL’s leaders in Ar-Raqqah to satisfy their forces to cooperate with them in this plan have declared: current differences with Al-Nusra caused by Saudi Arabia are a good opportunity to attract their top field commanders to infiltrate in the structure of this movement.

Therefore we should try to find ways to identify and attract those commanders to join us. We have one year opportunity to join Al-Nusra Front to ISIL.
