ISIL to Release 29 Syrian Assyrians

KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to reports, the ISIL Takfiri militants to release 29 of the 220 Syrian Assyrians it kidnapped in northeastern Syria earlier in February.

The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said, the court of the terrorist group on Saturday absolved the Christian Assyrians.

SOHR added that the Assyrian Christian leaders have held talks with the ISIL leadership through mediators to secure the release of the abducted members of the community.

The 29 Assyrian Christians are part of the 220 members of the community, which the terrorist group kidnapped on February 23 when storming the town of Tal Tamr.
