IS leader’s message after five years: We are ready for revenge

After five years, IS’s leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, appeared in a video message and insisted he would take revenge for losses in Iraq and Syria.

According to Middle East Press, Reuters publishing a video stated that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, has appeared in it after five years.

Although the timing of recording this video is unclear, al-Baghdadi refers to the losses of IS in the Syrian city of Baghouz, the last IS base in the region.

He insists that IS’s action against the West is part of a “long battle” and takes revenge for its militants.

Meanwhile, the IS leader also says the Easter bombings in Sri Lanka were IS’s response to losses in its last territorial stronghold of Baghouz in Syria.

For the last time, Al-Baghdai, was appeared in public in the Iraqi city of Mosul in 2014, and during this time several reports were published on his murder and injuries.
